Have Mac need help

I download the game Mac client on my Mac OSX

Version 10.6.8. It only downloads in dmg file only when I move it to the folder it just opens then closes and I get no errors of any thing to change

when you click the .dmg does anything happen?

 

for me you get a finder window that opens up with the client and a the applications folder icons. 

 

you can either drag the client icon to the application folder or I think you can drag it to the dashboard tool bar thingy.

 

from there you can click the shortcut and it should load (after a little while) a loading bar and then the client. Now i havent used .6.8 in a while so it may not be super fast. 

 

This is what i can offer you. if it still doesnt work good luck, others may have a solution. 

 

EDIT:

OK so i read your first post a little bit harder, what you need to do now is go into applications and click on dat icon you just dragged in there, you can move it to where ever you like and it should load up the client for you

I have tried dragging to applications folder and also to desktop and it goes to open an immediately closes same thing with the dmg file. I have googled and. Not yet found any help I have checked updates for all I have tried different web browser nothing. I appreciate the help thank you so much
