June 2, 201610 yr The part of the "Hero's Welcome" guide saying you will fight an adamant dragon is wrong; I know this for a fact as I fought a mithril one when I did that section of the quest. I think the stats were pretty much the same as the mithril dragons in the main part of the dungeon..... June 2, 201610 yr You most definitely fight an Adamant Dragon in the Dragonkin lair - hence why the dragonkin lair is a location to find Adamant Dragons post-quest and why they have drops exclusive to that location relating to the backstory/lore of the Dragokin featured via their journals. June 2, 201610 yr The type of dragon scales with your level according to Wiki, not sure what the cutoff is though. Out of curiosity what is/was your combat level when doing the quest?
