hey, i bought a creative zen micro 5gb off a friend, it included every accessory and the disc that came originally. the problem is it wont install, it either does this,

i dunno what the hell the problem is but apparently its not recognising the deivce and failing to install the drivers. its really annoying too, so help is appreciated. ive tried installing it manually, by opening the cd-rom drive and installing it all seperately but nup still no, and its not even showing up that its connected. no E drive in my computer, and its not my pc cos i used the same cord and all on my old mp3 player and that worked so i have no idea,

Is the Zen Micro on? Have you tried another USB cable?

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

That's really weird. I put in my CD and it worked perfectly. Did it work perfectly on your friend's computer, before you bought it?

it worked fine, i tried the usb cable and it was also fine. but the thing is, the player will play fine, with all my friends music on it but just not load on my computer

i dont mean to annoy you but some specs would be nice: like brand, os, and any other music software on your computer.
