October 31, 20169 yr Been a few years since I played, and noticed some changes. I have a slayer task for Iron Dragons and was going to use Mage. It seems I cannot wield both staff and anti-dragon shield at same time like I did in the past. Am I missing something here?
October 31, 20169 yr Staves have become two-handed weapons, so you cannot simultaneously equip both a staff and a shield. Alternatively, you could use a wand and the shield if you want to use magic. You could also use super-antifires and should be fine with a staff, if you meet the requirements to make them (85 Herblore and starting the golem quest). "Fight for what you believe in, and believe in what you're fighting for." Can games be art? --- My blog here if you want to check out my Times articles and other writings! I always appreciate comments/feedback.
October 31, 20169 yr Author Thanks for the update, I knew of the antis (and can make) just didn't have any phoenix feathers, seems like a lot of things are not tradeable now as well. Guess I'll range them for now and get feathers for next time. Thank you again :-D
October 31, 20169 yr One thing you need to know.. 2h weapons do 150% damageduel weilded weapons of the same type do 150% damageUsing a 1 handed weapon with a shield (or no weapon) will only do 100% damageOnly using an off hand weapon will do 50% damage So if you are killing anything with a 1h weap and shield, you would be better off using a 2h weapon or an off hand equivalent, so that you do 50% more damage Runescape player since 2005 Ego Sum Deus Quo Malum Caligo et Barathum
