I just returned to the game after couple of years and wanted to recharge my crystal bow. It's turned into a crystal weapon seed so Ilfreen should be able to recharge it into a bow, right? When I talk to her she asks after a while if she needs to recharge something and when I click on it she says: "show me a crystal seed or crystal item and I'll see what I can do with it" next nothing happens.. when I "use" the seed on her, I get a pop-up saying that I need further progress in the Mourning's End quest... this is not mentioned anywhere online? Is completion of this quest recquired?

I think.... that may be a bug? When prif came out they changed crystal weapons, so this may not had gotten changed?

 

Regardless, I saw you should finish the elf quests to get access to Prif (and more crystal weapons). But, they are only T70 weapons, and most other things are equal or better and don't require a long trip to recharge.

I couldn't recharge mine on my Ironman until I'd got as far as unlocking Lletya during MEP1 (Pretty much right at the very start of it).
