Ishamael
The last I played, I finally got Overloads and Turmoil. Once again, I'm pretty overwhelmed by all of the new items that have been released since I last played. I still don't have access to Prifddinas, so that's a top priority right now. However, once I get that done, what kind of gear should I be shooting for? I will mostly be doing Slayer since I have never bossed and am horrible at it. Also, if anyone wants to help me out financially, shoot me a PM. Prayer and Herblore emptied my bank apparently, I have what's in this gear tab plus 4m right now. Miss Lioness
Well it really depends on what you want to do with said gear. Slayer? Current one would suffice just fine, could upgrade to GWD2 gear (t80 power w/o degradation). For weapons, t90s are a good aim. You might want to look into Invention perks. They give nice little bonuses to PvM. 1 Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. Ishamael
Yeah, mostly Slayer. I do have interest in bossing, but that won't be for a little while. I'm sorry, the GWD2 armors are news to me. Would that be the Anima set or something else? Also, I'll edit this here to not make another topic. I'm looking to maximize DPS for my different Slayer ability bars. Is the Runescape Wikia a good source for info on the subject still? Fairly certain that's where I copied my bars from before.

Ammako
If you're interested in making money through skilling, Hunter offers decent opportunities right now. If you get that 73 to 77 and complete Tirannwn Medium diaries, you can start hunting Grenwalls and you're on your way to making 2m an hour from it (3m at 99.) I find it to not be too intensive to do and it's nice while watching something on the side or something. :P PvM offers higher gp per hour but that's at the more end-game bosses and I guess that's up to you to decide when you're ready for those. ;p I believe QBD still offers decent money per hour and might even be better than Grenwalls still. That's low-tier PvM nowadays and you shouldn't have -too- much trouble with it. For Slayer yeah anima core is nice, but it shouldn't be your main goal right now because Bandos/Armadyl/Subjugation are more than enough. Get rid of Gano and sell your Drygore maces, buy Dragon Rider lance (*much* better than Drygores for Slayer) and Robes of subjugation. If you still have money leftover, look into Shadow glaives for Ranged to replace Royal crossbow. Once you have a bit more money, sell Virtus wand and get Wand of the Cywir elders (upgrade Virtus book to Orb of the Cywir elders later, I wouldn't buy one right now since I doubt you'd have the money left at that point but also it just came out so you might want to wait for prices to settle down.) Once you have those, you could start working towards Anima Core, but I recommend going for Noxious longbow and/or Noxious staff instead (perhaps Noxious scythe as well) since these will give you a much bigger power increase over upgrading gwd1 gear to anima core. Ishamael
Oh hey, a fellew Quebecois! Thanks for the replies. Someone in HYT chat told me about the Dragon Rider Lance yesterday, so I'll definitely be selling my Drygores for that. I think, if they sell for market prices, I'll get a good 6-7m back from the switch. I've also amassed about 12m in the few hours that I've played so far, so I'll look into your suggestions. Arceus
In addition to what has been mentioned above, you might want to consider investing in a blood fury at some point - very useful for Slayer and low level bosses, particularly if you use lower tier armor and need health restore more than prayer. I believe I already have one, but it's not pictured. At least, I remember owning one. May have sold it.
Arceus
Ah right, looks like you made it into a brawler blood necklace from the picture. The leech effect will work for all styles but it will only provide a damage bonus to melee. Up to you if you want to make another and save it for ranged/magic then, but that would likely be a lower priority. Once you craft the necklace out of the blood necklace shard it's untradeable. Ishamael
Ah, good to know! I sold the Drygores today and got myself a lance. Only have 12m left over so I'll be farming and slaying this weekend to get some more gear. I have been grinding quests since I still don't have access to Prifddinas. Getting closer however, just 2 quests left!
