Have steel dragons stopped dropping rune 2h swords?

A long time ago when I fought steel dragons they used to drop rune 2h swords. I usually got it every 500 kills.

 

But I have killed 2,000 of them, and haven't gotten a rune 2h sword, So my question is have they stopped dropping them? It sure seems like it to me.

Steel dragons have access to the rare drop table, which used to include the rune 2h.

 

As the rune 2h has been removed from the rare drop table, steel dragons will no longer drop it.

In real life MMO you don't get 99 smithing by making endless bronze daggers.
