Does the fact that I kill a higher level monster affect the possibilities of rewards?

 

For example if I got a hard clue scrolls from steel dragons, would I have a better chance of getting valuable rewards than if I killed greater demons?

 

To be honest with you I doubt it, because the rewards don't seem so different from when I get clue scrolls from steel dragons and greater demons.

 

But I'm just making sure.

No difference, the rewards are randomly decided when you open the casket.
