Mercifull
Did you install any extentions recently? I reccomend making a backup of bookmarks etc uninstalling and then completely deleting all traces of it. Such as any profile data left hanging about. Cant tell you exact locations of folder tho atm cus im at work and dont have it here. Mercifull <3 Suzi "We don't want players to be able to buy their way to success in RuneScape. jade1234
are you sure you downloaded it from the right source AKA http://www.mozilla.com if you did then you may be going to a website that has a virus programmed for firefox on it. i realy dont know what the problem may be, your computer may not be compatible or something. maybe you should just use an old version if you could get that to work for you
Vape
Try: Start -> Run -> "firefox[Caution: ExecutableFile] - profilemanager" (no quotes) then select create new profile and see how that goes. Where the bloody hell are you?

Vape
With my previous suggestion, you have to close all Firefox windows first, then click start -> run, etc. Otherwise, your downloaded file may be botched - have you tried downloading it again? Some information about your system might be useful - I'm guessing windows XP but have you got the latest windowsupdates etc.? A hijackthis log would actually be useful because then we can see if you've got anything malicious that mightn't want you to use anything except IE, and we can see your system info aswell. Where the bloody hell are you?
tha_boas
perhaps you have some spyware who loads whenever FireFox is opened? and when you remove Firefox the spyware stays use some anti-spyware program to check if you don't have any? just a thought...
