So I have an account of many many years new school tried to log in recently and it came up with this small screen asking for my email and pass not just the launcher with user (!) and pass, got confused and made a new jagex account it workedlauncher came up... logged in with the play button and it asks me naturally to make a charcter even though i already have an account w/that name.

have i done goofed? can provide more info if yous want it, I can still log in online with my user and pass and it says i am a member which i am so im presuming i am logging in to my original account.

do i need to import or something? i even unistalled and reinstalled the launcher and basically everything no luck, asked on reddit not lots of help tried the advice dont think jagex has a good support team

If you haven't updated the jagex launcher in a very long time, then it updated. They took away the ability to log in with a username/email in 2023. You can only log in with a jagex account now.

 

You'll need to tie your account/username/email to your new jagex account
