I have gotten 2 level 3 clues in the last week and both times I have been killed by someone saying For Sardomin then he mgics me and poisons me. What the heck is going on does that happen every time or what.

The Zammy wizard usually appears as you are digging up the actual treasure. He protects it. He sometimes appears before the last dig too, so you must be prepared after the first clue!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Like you I was attacked and was super poisoned. Although I killed him, I died tryin to get to the bank. I got to Varrock bank, but the poison hits 8 hp every 5 seconds and I died b4 drinking anti-posion.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All my goodies were left lyin on the ground for all to pick over!

 

 

 

I lost the prize and lost my glory ammy, ring of wealth, full blk d-hide armor, etc... It hurt alot! The screaming and the adrenaline!!!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Always bring anti-poison next time and wear full armor before hunting treasure. Zammy wizard weilds a dragon dagger (super poisoned), so can hit 20's and poisons you.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

If you use prayer melee protection, he alternates to magic and hits 20's.

 

 

 

If you pray protect against magic he uses the dagger.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Try wearing rune armor or dhide armor and proctect from magic.

 

 

 

Next time I will try to range him with magic protect from a distance.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

NOTE: With my black d-hide armor (81 def) he hit me with 15's with magic or melee.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

BTW: I know it is a free-for-all when someone dies, but some folks can be nice, then there's the jerks you wish to meet in a dark alley...

All wilderness coordinates are the Zamorack wizard. He is easy. Just protect from mage and use drag dagger specs, you should kill him.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

All non wilderness coordinates are the lvl 108 Saradomin wizard. He uses melee or mage, so Id recommend protecting melee, as he uses a drag dagger (s). Wear black hides, and everything that gives a good mage def, protect from melee, and bring foo, anti poison pot, and maybe a prayer potion.
