If your running windows xp open up runescape, then push ctrl+alt+delete, click processes tab, right click runescape and go to priority, change to abovenormal or high

Done, although this idea seems very unstable thing for your computer to me.

You would have to have the worst computer imaginable not to run runescape well. My old Windows 95 runs RuneScape fine...And it has a 2 GB HDD and around 47 MBs of ram if that's any indication as to how worthless it is.
