The Runescape Knowledge Base

Featured Replies

Am i the only one that realizes this can take away a chunk of runescape fansites userbase? lawl.

Im certain that Jagex is trying to draw people away from fansites.

Jagex supposedly encourages fansites, but lately I think they have stopped trusting them.

I've talked to a disturbing amount of people who are of the opinion that fansites are nothing more than keylogger-infested enclaves of Jagex-bashing, scamming, and advertisments on how to cheat.

If you dont take steps to ensure that you're protected, you void all right to complain when stuff goes wrong.

Well itll only take away members that are new in runescape, since ppl that have been with tip.it from the past wouldnt want to look at a knowledge base instead of tip.it (which pwns all sites.) :D

People will still want to go to fansites if there stuck in a quest. The fansites have WAY better quest guides that take you through every step of the quest, where Jagex' quest guides just say what the quest is about, and where to start it.

Tip.It has always had my loyalty, and has always helped me when I'm in trouble. I've never seen the main page down for long (if at all), so will continue to have my support.

Tip.it was here first, and everyone else can sod off.

Raichase, quit Runescape.

Time issues really, nothing against the game itself. Something had to go, and it happened to be the addictive game that costs money to enjoy :)

Best of luck to all of my friends here!

Fansites are like union's, when we're not under Jagex's control we can lodge complaints, and make petitions. When we are, they can control us, your rs account can be banned for something you say on the forum's for example. They want to control us more and stop us causing trouble.

God, to read that you would believe that Jadex was some uber-controlling government with secret police everywhere... .

Conspiricy Theories and Jadex have been around as long as Runescape has... No substance to it.

Perhaps I sounded to extreme, but in a nutshell all tip it is a union for rs players.

i myself use two runescape fansites...

this one of course, but mainly for these forums, and the calcs.

also, http://www.runescape.salmoneus.net, for its awesome quest guides. they are extremely in depth, and got me through just about every single quest cuz im lazy.

Bah, tip.it OWNS that fansite. I'm not even going to click on the LINK because Tip.it rocks so much harder.
