so i've been a member for a long time and i hang out at seer's vil. most of the time fletching and cutting trees. when im in the bank i see people buying magic logs....why? they are 1k ea and thats not worth burning them so i assume people fletch them.....why?....do they alch the bows or sell em to people? if they alch them how much do magic shorts alch for? and how much do longs alch for?....thnx

People buy them because magic longs high alc for 1530gp.

-1000(log)

+150(string)

+300(nat)

=1450

that means they are actually making a profit off alching the bow

Most people buy them to flech magic longs (like me).

It take "forever" to woodcut 3k-5k magic logs just to get 1 fleching lvl (around the 90+ lvls) so you just buy them.

I usually buy the magic logs and make the nats and bowstrings.

Magic long bow high alch for 1,532gp so if you buy magic log for 1k, nature rune for 300gp and bow string for 150gp u still don't get to 1532gp u get when u high alch.

btw: u have double post.
