Hannibal
Runescape is written in a scripting language which in turn is written in Java. What kind of code editors they use for writing their java or their own script language, no idea. Ask them. I'd be betting on something like Eclipse, Visual Studio or Komodo though. nite_magic
yea their is no telling what they used. It could be just straight out Java programmed from Java development kit. I tried to learn Java and program with that but my computer has too low of ram to compile programs. But I do use Visual Basic 2005 it ownz and works with my computer :). If you are up for making games, you should try out Flash and learn some actionscripting. To make a game like Runescape you will need a good bit of programming knowledge in C, VB, and other languages. Good luck >.<. Oh yea get flash at http://www.macromedia.com Download a trial edition and check some tuturials.
