I HATE THAT SUCKER!!! the sounds it makes make it sound like it got a terrible bowel problem.lol LOL, I haven't crossed paths with him yet. What I do for wild clues is carry the minimum possible stuff. Just slashing type weapon, clue, spade, sextant, watch and chart. Also some kind of tele runes (I use glory). If you are going to die drop the spade, sextant, watch and chart and protect item prayer and you'll still have your clue scroll.
