HELP!!!!Can't Transfer Picture!!!!

Featured Replies

I have both a 1998 iMac and a Gateway PC (not sure of the model). Earlier today I was forced to work on the Macintosh and I started a new sig on it. Unfortunatly, I have found it extremely difficult to use Appleworks instead of Paint and I want to transfer. I can't seem to transfer using a jump drive because it can't find the file that made it. Here's what I've done:

1. Failed Tried to upload pic, post on tip.it, then copy on PC to put into Paint. Mac kept on quitting IE because lack of memory. Couldn't even upload on to net.

2. Failed Tried using jump drive to transfer files directly. NO Appleworks on PC so it oculdn't open the file.

3. Some Success I opened up the files for my pics then copied them into a Microsoft Word file. I then used my jump drive to transfer the Word file. The image transferred but they were stretched (468x201 pixels) and the colors were distorted like I'd saved them as a JPG.

Please help.

might want to try the tech and computers board? but if it only took you five minutes why not just start a fresh on your other computer...

Sorry, I meant my current sig took 5 min. I spent about 2 hours on the other one.
