Magic schedule part II

Recommended Posts

Alright people, now I have (as planned):

4,715 Fire Strikes

4,086 Wind Bolts

3,170 Curses.

Fire Strikes:

14145 fire runes (complete!)

4,715 mind runes (complete!)

Wind bolts:

4,086 chaos runes (complete!)

Curse:

6340 water runes (complete!)

9510 earth runes (complete!)

3,170 body runes (complete!)

The meaning is that eventually I will get level 50 mage. At this moment I am mage level 26 (9405-9730) and now I would like to have a schedule. So until which level I should fight which monster/human, which spells against those etc. As you now might know...I'm a perfectionist, but I'm proud of it! Please respond and thanks for your help at magic schedule part I!

greetings, dutchy

I would recomend training your magic up to 33 on the "man" house in Edgeville or the dark wizards south of varrock. Then train the rest on the caged lesser in the wizard tower and hope for some rune meds. :D

Use the firestrikes on the guards till 33, then use the excess strikes and bolts on the lesser. And for the Curses i would get a full set of armor and use the fail curse spell method on the monk under the stairs in the Varrock Castle.

And yes my RSN exsists and im proud to say that I just made the woodcuttin high score list.

The monk is level 17...

So this should I do?

*Use curse against the monk until level 33*

*Use wind bolts and fire strikes against lessers*

If I get my level to 33 with curse the guards aren't neccesary anymore..

and yes, I heard about wearing full armor and dragon vambraces. So I just could wear full steel, or is full rune neccesary? But I'm still not very convinced that that is a "trick" and it's true. Because others say it's not true..and facing lesser demons with mage 33? I don't if that has a lot of effect..

respond again plz!

Curse does not give any Hitpoint exp.

Is that OK with you?

Fire Strike averages about 18 mage exp per cast

Wind Bolt averages about 21 mage exp per cast.

Curse always gives 29 mage exp per cast

So, if I didn't want/need the HP exp, I would do nothing but Curse to raise my magic level.

and yes, I heard about wearing full armor and dragon vambraces.

Look at the Magic attack stat for Bronze Plate and Rune Plate

(pictures by DroolMAN)

bronze_platebody.pngrune_platebody.png

They are the same.

The magic attack stats for med helm, large helm, legs, etc also appear to be the same as well.

So, it looks like you could wear any combination of metal armor with green vambraces and fail.

But I'm still not very convinced that that is a "trick"

It's a "trick" in that you fail the spell but still get full mage exp.

...and it's true. Because others say it's not true..

It's true.

I have used it thousands of times to reach level 80 magic. :)

But, don't take my word for it. Test it yourself.

Put on full bronze and vambraces and cast a few Curses.

You will always get 29 exp for each cast.

and facing lesser demons with mage 33? I don't if that has a lot of effect..

First, I would use Curse.

Second, if you do want to cast HP exp magic and if you hit very

low on the lesser, then you could always try a lower monster.

You could try casting from the "key" room in the Varrock sewers across the water into the 4 zombie ladder room.

It's a multi-combat area so you will almost always have a target.

Also, it's completely safe.

Hope this helps.

I myself would prefer the HP exp. And you'll get more exp per hit if you actually hurt the thing your fighting.

I would go with doing the bolts and such as well. Expecially since you already have all the runes. HP isn't the easiest of skills to raise really, as you can't go out and train *just* HP.

I could use other spells with chaos runes I guess..

Crumble Undead averages about 39 mage exp per cast.

Fire bolt averages about 34

But perhaps I will use curse, I'm wondering something..

if you don't get any hp for it, why did you use yourself it to become level 80 magic?

Sigh

Sorry

I never said that I used only Curse on my way to level 80.

I should have said "...thousands of times to help reach level 80..."

If I used it 10,000 times

At 29 exp per cast thats only 290,000 exp.

And that is less than 15% of the exp needed for level 80...

You know I've already reached level 50 magic with help from Crumble Undead. Its a pretty cheap spell (with an Air Staff), and earth runes are easy to find, and cheap to buy. Of course there aren't any high level monsters you can effective level on with this spell other then the zombies and skeletons in the sewers below Varrock, or even the level 20 or so skeletons in the Valcano on Karamja.

I'm not very sure how much exp is gained casting Superheat Item or Low Level Alchemy, but those helped me get to level 50 in the long run...
