wandering monsters

Featured Replies

Just thought of this idea:

A monster that wanders around runescape and randomly teleports certain places at times (basicly the same as bob the jagex cat). If killed, the monster gives special armor/untradable items that are exclusive to killing it. they could place several of these monsters ingame and have them wander around. People would have to track them down in order to get theyre exclusive stuff. thoughts on this idea?

that would kinda be nice not having to go to the place where they usely are but you have to think that would be hard work for JAGex

range 74+

hunter 47+

hey.... I'm still training....

I see an idea here, so you mean a lil bit like hunting? It could even drop stuff like, hunters hat, hunters clothers, arrows, bows etc...

There could even be a new emote

Imagine:

Emote, *Pretends to fire a fake sniper Bullet*

Just adding to the idea =)

Hard work? it would just involve the creation of a new monster with a couple of new drops like they would any monster, accept that give it the same kind of coding as bob the jagex cat so that it could wander anywhere, but when its killed it respawns in a totally different area of rs and needs to be tracked again. Maybe could be released in a quest? but seriously, it wouldnt be that hard and it could be alot of fun.

Sounds like fun. Maybe there could be one special monster for each of the different drops (one for hat, one for pants, etc.) and have an item similar to the rune talismans give nonspecific hints as to the monster it is "attached" to is currently located, or maybe make a very small quest that gives you the monster talisman.

hopefully it would be f2p.& the armor would have to be around between dragon & rune power.untradable, have to get a new part if ya die & dont get it back, so that way its a little harder to train with it.
