spuriousmonkey
Although I am mainly concentrating on slayer I would like to level my herblore a bit. Currently my herblore is 63. It would be nice to at least crank it up to 70 or 75. What kind of strategies are there? I don't really want to buy unids. I could, but I don't want to buy the level. I don't mind working for it, but I am wondering what the most efficient way would be. 1. chaos druids pros: Easy to kill. teleport to edgeville bank with glory, empy inventory, run back to edgeville dungone cons: often crowded, but whip is fast. I notice I can often dominate the game with lower level players by keeping concetrated. Not that many high level herbs. 2. chaos druid warriors pros. Can drop double herbs. Close to yanille bank. White berries are dropped. cons. takes longer to kill. 3. abberant specters pros. During slayer tasks and thanks to big axe jack's slayer guide I noticed how good high level herb droppers they are. Reasonably close to bank. cons. High level...slow. 4. farming. Don't really want to pursue farming. 5. other ones??? I am curious what kind of strategy other people have followed. I actually stopped dropping guam leaves. Although they don't give much experience they do give EASY experience. Eyes of Newt are easily bought and can be combined with making air runes. The only herb that really troubles me is marrentil. It's just such a bother to collect unicorns. I usually make fishing potion instead of superenergy because i find it easier to collect snape grass. So, what are your tactics if you don't want to buy unids? What is fast? I'm not looking for a profit. I use prayer pots, super att and str for my slayer tasks. And these little details please that make a difference if possible. Many thanks in advance for sharing knowledge.
cardovilian
If you go past the Chaos Druid Warriors in Yanille dungeon (requires 57 agil which you have), you will find a bunch of chaos druids and a shortcut back to the bank. Its rarely that busy there because of the agility requirement. Why is 'common sense' so named, when there is so little of it about?Welcome to puberty, we've been expecting you. Fire_God
I would suggest the yanille chaos druids or even the twisted guy later on, if you can. Other wise you could always go to the brimhaven agility arena, slow but you stay interested. Trying is just the first step in failure.
dwarfie76
Serum 207 is good for some quick levels. Tarromin and Ash. then use it on the townsfolk in Mort'ton and they will reward you with tarromins, water filled vials and logs so you have a self-completing circle. You can stay there with just an axe and tinderbox until you get bored. If you've done "In aid of the Myreque" you can use the bank in Burgh De Rott to store excess water filled vials too. RAHK
Drop marrs. Not worth the effort or the price for the xp. I use the chaos druids nw of ardy in blood tower. Go to a busy world and two people will have a hard time keeping them all killed. When you are done simply thieve the chest underneath once or twice for bloods and a quick tele. I also wear monk robes etc. and low lvl prayers which don't drain before I am full of herbs. There is a handy altar on the way to the bank (well NEARLY on the way that is  ). PM me in game to use some skills of mine (glories/potions) free or to ask a question.Fire Cape - 04/29/06 Lvl 104RAHK's Pro PC Gear and Guide(clickable) Tired of hack and slash? FPSers getting old?
