April 29, 200620 yr You have no sense of anatomy, the body, how you work, what joints are. You may be able to learn with trial and error over a huge period of time with pixelart, but its much more sensible to do traditional work and get a working knowledge before pixelart. Pixelart isn't really for beginners to art- you have to know what something should look like and exactly how your going to do it if you want it to look decent, and thats not counting all the confusing techniques you have to learn along with anatomy and other basic principles of art. In other words, drop the mouse and pick up a pencil. Go looks for antomy books in your public library, get a pad of paper, and study up. Just my best advice.

April 29, 200620 yr Oh man, what an original excuse. Surely no ones ever hid behind 'cartoon style' before. You have to learn the rules before you can break them. Even a cartoon uses anatomy, you've demonstrated you can do a fat stick figure. Show me the well executed cartoon that looks anything near that.

April 30, 200620 yr Hello, I said anatomy? Look it up, it has everything to do with pixel art. In fact, without at least a decent knowledge of it, you have almost no chance of accomplishing much in pixel art.

Anatomy is the study of the human body and it forms, so by saing to study anatomy, he is trying to say to fix up your chars body! OMG! Thats not hard to understand! How you expect to make future sigs if you dont even trust in your abilities? duh? try fixing, post, ask for more C/C, and goes like this untill you have some good experience to make a good one!
