Max out range and get ~70 mage just so that mages won't hit you, ever. High mage also opens up a great training spot: dark wizards in wildy. Good amounts of runes and decent exp.

 

 

 

 

 

EDIT: Don't get prayer until 75+ str, otherwise it's a waste of combat lvls.
