The_Jeppoz Posted August 9, 2004 Share Posted August 9, 2004 well...ok if it wasn't your first try...valuing it as a standard sig my rating would be 5/10. Again since it's your first one that's realy nice but answering your request i'll still point out some problems: -2 colors for the shading isn't enough, the result is still pretty plain even cause u didn't follow specific light/shadow zones but simply darkened left side of objects. -Design isn't that bad but needs some more work. Needs to be more detailed and more "clean". -Anatomy needs some fixing so the body shape is more natural -Background is very simple, 2 simple. Remember to add something else in your next work -the image message isn't that clear. Should be a chopped head in his hand right ? then u'd better give the head a more centered and detailed look. Plus we miss some blood on the sword, don't we ? -The image works pretty well even if, in my opinion, it lacks of a real focal point, may it be a graphical or humoristic one. Something able to catch the eyes or the mind of the viewer. Hope this will help you.
