darkehriku
I hav a quick questions. Does magic cast by other ppl hit lower if you have a higher magic level yourself? I heard a rumour and i'm not really sure about this. This is cuz i'm training a pure strength character and I'm wondering if i should train range (to wear dragonhide) or magic (if a higher magic lvl leads to less magic damage). Thanks! Platinum_Myr
Its possible, but I am not sure. Maybe ask on the oficial forums... I think it does NOT, but I am not sure. I would go with range, as we KNOW that works. Maxed since Sunday, January 9th, 2014Completionist since Wednesday, June 4th, 2014
Doomster
According to the knowledge base http://kbase.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/ ... le_id=2161 Magic level does aid defence. If you are an iron pure (1 defence) then studded legs are better all round than iron, so training range to 20 or 40 (studded leges / dragonhide legs and vambs), AND triaing magic by quests (Witchs potion & imp catcher), then confuse .. weaken .. curse is probably the strongest combination. If you don't want to use full ranger kit, them a compromise would be medium helm and chain, anti-dragonfire shield, with the other kit as above. darkehriku
Thanks. Would you recommend training range lvl to wear dragonhide legs, or training magic lvl for magic defense?
cyclingboy10
Thanks. Would you recommend training range lvl to wear dragonhide legs, or training magic lvl for magic defense? both, you need the hp you get from ranged(and to be alble to wear green dhide) and the magic protection you get from mage lvls
