May 6, 200620 yr The animations are different. High alch flashes 3 times, low alch once. Can't really explain better. You could just try it out ingame. Low alch basically gets the general store price I think, high alch gets the specific shop price, assuming they're both out of stock that is. High alch is 50% more cash, theres no reason to low alch at all, same number of runes (1 nature) when you have a fire staff. 89/99 farming
