Experiment with drop shadows, inner glows, strokes. FYI, animation for banners can be off-putting since they can take long to load and can irritate by too much eye-catchyness. How would I work a shadow into it? :| Psh, Photoshop > Paint.net :) Stroke = Line around text. Photoshop has a feature so you can change the layer options like inner glows and shadows.
