Elveirlyte
WHAT ARE THE AVERAGE STATS OF A DEF PURE?
DegenerateX
I am thinking this myself. I have a sub-pure with 38 mage and 11 defence. Not sure how to combine magic and defence though. (sorry if I'm leeching off of your thread, consider this a free bump) Looking for someone to teach me how to Armadyl farm - pm me10,200th Person to Achieve 99 Magic on 1/10/
imaerehw14
usually you want a base attack and strength level to get you started so you dont have to hit constant 1's while training defense. about lvl 20 in both is ok. after you get lvl 20 attack and strength, train defense as much as you want. usually 70-80 is a good level to stop at. then get your attack and strength up just a bit more, up to about 50ish for each. this is sometimes used for stakers. also, you can make a tank (i think thats what they are called). this is when you get your prayer up to 43 (or 52 dependsing if you are going to stay f2p or go p2p with it). in the end, you would probebly benefit with stats that look like this for your def pure. att:50(60 if you get members and want dragon weapons) str:50 def:70-80 prayer:43-52 hp: (whatever you get when training) now, you could also benefit from high mage and range, but those stats above are the basic staker/tank stats (or so i have been told before. someone make sure i got those right?) Doomster
A true def pure (a "decorative" only character wearing rune or better) really needs to keep the other levels low. With 1 attack, the best weapon (non member) is the silverlight, obtained by starting the demon slayer quest - NOT completeing it is an advantage, as a free replacement can be obtained by repeating the initial stages.
