Fletching profit help

Featured Replies

ok i have 85 fletching and 55 mage tell me how i get a good profit making mage longs (s) should i high alch them or just normally sell them i dont care about the mage xp just what makes better profit and add how much profit i would get.

Well, mage logs sell for 1k, bowstrings for 180 (sometimes less) and nats for 300 (unless you craft them yourself).

Mage longs alch for 1536ea meaning if you buy all you will make 56gp per bow.

I have seen longs sell for 1300 ea (this is less certain) making you 120ea but no mage xp.

You can sometimes get logs cheaper an bow strings can go for as little as 150. Obviously anything you cut or craft yourself is more profit to you.

Your call.

In the long run i think that you will make more money by alching if you make your own nats.

BUT if you sell to an alcher then you can get good profit from this just by selling the bows as they are done.

Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law

is both.
