Before anyone flames me, I did search everywhere.

 

 

 

I am looking for some info on how to kill the Giant Rock Crabs. Because there isn't many people after them anymore I am having a hard time killing them. Everytime I get one low, they retreat and I am instantly attacked by something else.

 

 

 

I have tried mele but not mage. My mage lvl isn't great but I am going to try it next.

mage would be best

They have high melee and range def, but low mage def.

 

 

 

Get a safe spot and mage away, good exp also I hear.

Same way I kill wallasakis. You just use prayer to keep u safe till they become non aggressive. then wail on em.

About how long till they become non aggressive? I have fairly high prayer and hp so I can stay for a long time.

Everybody needs to stop answering questions that belong in the Help and Advice section. Not only is it against the rules but it encourages people to ask their questions in general p2p which clutters it up. After it is moved to a different forum feel free to answer it... repeatedly, hehe.

P.S. Since you did use the search button (congratz!) the answer to your second question is about 15 minutes. Mage in your melee gear and use fire strike to get some easy/cheap mage xp while you wait until you can unload with your whip etc.
