Are they tradable, and if you die with them can you speak to anyone to get them back?

Untradeable and therefore,no,you cant ask some1 to pick them up for u[/i]

You can speak to someone (an NPC) in the middle of the abyss to get your small pouch back, you have to kill the monsters to get the others back if you lose them

He will return your smallest pouch but you must kill the abyssal monsters until you get your others. Always drop your pouches if you are about to die and simply return as soon as you are dead and pick them back up. If I remember correctly EVERYTHING protects over them; I think even quest items, lol.
