Guest sc4ttered
im doing dragon slayer right now, parce que i would like to finish all f2p quests before going members. i was reading on another help site about the XP given out at the end of the quest. now being a pure i have 0 defence xp and i want to keep it that way but at the end of dragon slayer you get about 18000 defence XP.. uh oh while i was reading though, i came apon a find saying if you switch your attack style to defence for more than half the fight, instead of getting that dreaded defence XP you will instead get strength xp! oh boy oh boy! i would like to know if this is true before i go and fight erlgolrg and destroy my pure. thanks

MrSScope
You will get defence xp no matter what if you defeat 'erlgolrg' P.S it's Elvarg.. 99 cooking / 99 magic / 99 ranged / 99 hitpoints / 99 herblore / 99 defence Quoted for truth, wisest thing I've heard anyone say on Runescape. Guest sc4ttered
hmm... ok, and when i said you gain str xp instead, i meant attack xp. so you would get atk and str, not str and def. but ok
Scars
Yeah, you will end up being from 0def xp to 18,650xp & thats 33def,lol. In short your pure will be ruined. So dont do that quest if u want to stay at 0def xp. Thanks to WithTheQuickness for the sig!
