d3nic
Hey Guys. I've just bought 2.5k iron ore. I'm 52 smithing and I want to raise smithing as high as possible, please can you give me some tips on what to make for the best XP? Thanks
whirlyboy
Firstly, Steel is 1 iron, 2 coal. So you need to buy another 2.5k coal. Steel plates other than that. You cant get anything better for exp at your level. -A Magical Flying Elephant -Blue bird who enjoys Chompy hunting (The head feathers)

Buddy69
Obviously iron plate. Then go to Lummy and sell them or give them away.
my_tribute
you could make iron knives out of them if you don't wanna lose money.they sell for reasonable prices, and you get 5 knives out of each bar
ghostman
You could make arrows or knives, like Tribute said. Knives go around 30 ea, 4 knives per bar. arrows are around 20 ea, with 15 per bar, but u also need feathers/logs. Currently P2P. I don't want the world to see me, 'cause I don't think that they'd understand. Formerly known as: Ghstkill8, Serene Ghst, Genius Goats
Xeith
I did steel plates basically until i could do mith plates. As for the losing loads of money part i've found over all the time that I have played RS that you have to choose between making money or getting exp. Granted it is possible to do both at the same time but the amount of money being made and exp being earned is cut way down. The best way to do it is choose between money or exp at one time. Knives sell 40 each so if you were to buy the bars after you do this 2.5k, you wouldn't lose any money as iron bars are 200ea max. id do heads 4 quick fletch xp I am pretty sure that at your lvl the fletching exp you get from those iron arrows would be insignifigant, stick to the knives.
