im 42 range and want to get to 70, i was wondering if a cannon is a waist of money or if its a good way to level up quick and have some fun doing it. does a cannon get you the same amont of exp as lets say a bow and arrows at the same ammont of money or is it more expecive??

A cannon will cost you a fortune. Stick to the conventional bow and arrrow. Longer but much cheaper.

well thats not what i wanted to hear

i boguht a cannon recently and made some cannonballs. i went to train in the ice mountain dungeon place, and not only was it costly, it was boring. i also didnt notice very good exp. right now, i train on fire giants in the waterfall with iron throwing knives for exp. they're cheap (35 each), you can pick most of them up, and theres people to talk to and its fun. i got from about 55 to 65 ranged there, in less than a week, and i wasnt even training ranged the whole time! all you need to do is bring some food, (like 4 lobsters maybe) and use the safespot in the middle branch. they stop being aggresive after abotu 15 minutes, an then you can use the tables to range them. you basically only have to leave when your inventory gets full or you run out of knives

 

 

 

P.S. they also drop big bones, good for prayer. and they can drop d meds, d spears, d left half-shields, rune scimmies, fire battlestaves, and some higher level herbs

Cannons are useful, when I train with mine I take it to Lathas' camp you can get in if you have done the biohazard quest. It's quite good exp (yes expensive) oh and be prepared to get shouted at :roll:

i dont know, its 600k for a cannon, and i can use it until i diside i dont want it anymore then just sell it off again.
