Junkieman
I'm thinking about training my mage up a bit, hopefully to 68 then I could actually enchant my dragonstone stuff, although its not really why I want it to 68, 68 is just a number I want to achieve. Point is, where would be ideal and what spell? I've got about 500 chaos to burn up, and 1600 deaths, and nigh on 10k fires. I could also use airs and a fire staff if i run low, as opposed to the plan of fires and an air staff. Point is, what should I train on and where? (oh yeah, another question, should I string and high alch my maple longs, or just string them and sell them to a shop at a loss? I'd lose out if I high alched as well, which I'm not really doing atm because I collected my own maples and strings. I could sell the nats for 300ish each, and make more money)

Ethiery
1. High alc bows. 2. Air staff + laws out the butt and Camelot teleport. 3. Just go kill stuff with those runes, slower, but hey, HP exp also. A man who doesn't read, is no smarter than a man who can't read.
Risen_The
High Alch is your best bet, but you can use those chaos and deaths if you want. Blue Dragons, Metal Dragons, etc. are good to mage. http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=525348 - My Pking Gallery I'M BACK FOR SUMMER BABY
bacab
I started Hi alching at level 52(wizzy mind bomb). I did yew shorts, I was a crazy fletcher. But what you could do is probably use the chaos and death to do barrows. You can get runes back by killing the skeletons to get deaths, so start on those first. Use Magic Dart, as it's cheap. But before you do, train your range up a bit, so that you can take down Ahrim. Easy way to train Range would be with slayer assignment, seeing as how you need 13 more levels for magic dart. or Do quests. These are quest that give the best magic xp rewards -> Desert Treasure (20k magic xp), Swan's Song (15k magic xp), Watchtower (15k xp), and Enakhra's Lament (7k magic xp). Other quests give magic xp, but I didn't list because you either : have to choose the magic xp [Legends, for example], or they give less than 5k xp. or Do minigames. Like Mage Arena and mage train arena. or Do slayer assignments with battle spells, and cross your fingers for one where you have a safe spot or require little or no physical/ range defense. or Kill things like hill giants so that you can get money from selling their bones to buy more runes. or Mine ore and smith stuff. ALch the stuff. Like Plate bodies. or Craft Dragon hides and alch. You're good enough to do vambs, but don't go on to chaps if you reach that level. Vambs alch 1.5k ea and chaps alch 2.3k ea. (1.5 +1.5 > 2.3) or gather a bundle of laws, and Cammy tele. There are lotsa lotsa lotsa lotsa ways to train your mage. Sticking with it is the hardest part. We don't rebel to sell it just suits us well, we're the bright young things.
azielgoh
I get mage xp by buying nats and fletching my yews long. and alch away. I can craft nats so i don't buy. Alching is very very very boring i reckon. So i would mage metal dragons, barrows and maybe get some decent rewards. Do fast free laws in world 66 and gather up tons of laws and do camelot teleport. I did alching from 60-67. NOT GIVING AWAY NEW ACCOUNT NAME.
Junkieman
Yeah, Im wanting to save my nats for when I can make yew longs. My question now is; What would be an ideal thing to train on using the bolt/blast spells?

Junkieman
really? interesting, I'd have thought they'd be crowded, and maybe a bit resistant to magic. Although it'd be handy considering I just finished Ghosts Ahoy, any other suggestions?
