I have 2600 mind runes to train with, however; I can cast with chaos runes. Am I better of using the mind runes to train or selling to get chaos runes?

use the minds then save up and buy chaos

If you're a member you should get your RCing to 35(It won't take too long) and then runecraft your own. (don't take anything with you put chaos tiara and pure essence, if you take rune or better armour, you will probably be PKed and lose your stuff. Even on the least crowded worlds there is a chance of getting PKed)

 

 

 

If you're not, I suggest you killing chaos dwarves as they drop most chaos at the time for F2P (Greater Demons have better, since they requires high level wilderness I wouldn't recommand that)

Well, if you don't like making the runes, I'd recommand you to go to Brimhaven Dungeon, as south as possible once you get up the stairs near the moss giants at the other end of the lava.
