ukfooty
I have the fingerprints, (on mine it's David) and i have the thread from the window - i show the guard and he says the fingerprints are good, but i need more proof to back up my 'thread' - how do i do this? Cheers
Loge_05
After finding a match, talk to the guard again and tell him about it. The guard will still tell you that you need more evidence, so talk to him again and show him the thread you found on the window. It is the same colour as the random person's pants, and the guard will praise you for helping them solve the mystery Source. Basically, talk to the Guard again. Offline and unavailable. ukfooty
Ive done that. The guard says it's good work - although it doesnt prove who it is...do i need to get 2 bits of thread or something? Cheers
Loge_05
Speak to the guard with both pieces of evidence in your invent. Also, try to confront David if the above doesn't work. Sorry, but I can't remember this quest that well. If what I mentioned doesn't work then I'm out of ideas. Offline and unavailable.

Cheers Three minor corrections to the Murder Mystery quest guide should help you. First two: Frank's silver pot is in the "mid-east" room and David's silver book is in the "mis-west" room. Finally, the correction you appear hung up on is that you must confront your suspect, asking if they know anything about the thread, before you tell the guard you know who did it. Good luck and many happy quests to ya!
