Alto Saxophone Players?

Featured Replies

Does anyone else here play Alto Sax? I just started playing in 6th grade, and everyone that's heard me has agreed: I'm awesome. What other band instruments do you play? Can be like a classic rock band, not just a school band!

I played alto. I waaaaaaaaaay prefer tenor. Been playing 5+ years.

Wow...I just scanned it with my new high tech program called "common sense" and it detected a scam.

Nice experience! I want to play tenor or baritone myself. My band teacher told me that I was good enough that maybe I could switch to one of the two in 7th grade.

i play tenor myself and have been since 5th grade, but i started with alto at first :)

Nope but my friend does. I, myself, prefer the French Horn. Going into high school in August and I'm gonna be in the marching band. I'm looking forward to it. The people in band are awesome.

Yep, I'm gonna be in 7th grade marcxhing band. My school goes from Kindergarten-5th, 6th-8th, and 9th-12th. We aren't that big of a band class, and I am the only saxophone in the entire band now!

I play Alto. I really, really stink at it, but I've been doing it for a year.
