A much needed clan-related POH Suggestion

Featured Replies

His Lordship has made a suggestion that should reveloutanise the use of Player Owned Houses in the terms of clan use.

The main idea is allowing a house, with the builders permission, to be open to anyone on their friend's list. This would make houses a lot better for clan interactions and create a more friendly environment.

Here is the official suggestion from the runescape forums.

JaGeX, may I start by complimenting you on a most marvellous system. You have really outdone yourselves this time. Every p2p member in the game is overwhelmed by this stroke of brilliance.

There is ONLY one thing stopping it from being perfect. And JaGeX, you have the chance to be killing two birds with one stone.

PLEASE offer clan support to these houses. Allow a person's friend list to access their house while they are offline.

PLEASE let people enter and do what they wish at the owner's choice. I am aware some players will nt want this, which is why I am proposing you set the option to make the house public to your friends list.

PLEASE allow throne rooms on the upper floor and disable the lever to the oubliette. Throne rooms on the upper floor allow for better privacy in clan meetings.

-------------------

If you have a problem with allowing the friends list to enter under the owner'* permission, here are a few alternates:

Allow several people (4 or 5 maybe) to admit people into the house, and have ONLY the owner able to construct in it. (There are some safety issues here I think)

Or at the very least, allow people to enter while the owner has private chat off and is not in the house.

DOing this would make the houses more clan friendly.

I certainly know there are hundreds of clans who could be overjoyed in allowing members to access a single house. It has amazing benefits:

1. Clan members can more easily socialise

2. The clan can gather privately without external instrusion for trips, and drop parties and other events

3. The clan leaders can meet and be seated in a room for meetings

4. In the future a message board might be added so the owner can leave messages for guests.

5. Clan benefits such as the use of the dungeons for training or the altar for prayer

6. Many more!

And not only will this help clans, but it will also help a lot of other people too.

Please go to thread 24-25-325-24307761 to support this much needed update. It needs your support to get noticed.

If done successfully, houses could be a whole lot more clan-orientated as well as for personal use. They would be excellent for clan meetings, drop parties, and many more, and the builder would not have to constantly keep going to let people in.

Do you agree? Post your support on 24-25-325-24307761

Thanks, Tnuac.
