A little off topic...

 

If you're looking at a career path in programming I wouldn't recommend it unless you love doing it... My dad is a programmer and he used to make $60,000 a year, until about a year and a half ago when he was laid off. He recently got another job in programming that only makes $35,000 a year.

 

 

 

 

 

I think VB would be a good language to start with. I'm trying to learn Pascal (usuing just tutorials from google) but it's a [bleep].

I think you should give C a go.. It wasn't too hard to learn. I love the implementation of inline assembly. It's a nice language, and from it it's much easier to learn.
