can u do it at lvl 51 or 52 thieving , and take some kind of drink to get it up a couple levels?

Idk if you NEED 53 thieving to do it or not, but as far as I know, there is no drink to raise it a couple lvls.

i think you need to have the lvl, and as far as i know there is not pot that raises theiving, but if you want to raise your theiving very fast go to a crouded world (like 2, 6, 78 or 9) and theive cakes from the stall in ardougne, then chance of getting caught is very low and the respawn time is VERY fast because of the amount of people in the world, either that or theive guards

bandit's brew raises your theiving by 1, but i do not recommend trying to pick the chest with it. You will probably need many brews and lockpicks.

u need 53 theving it says in a guide somewere and anyways u can take that many more lockpicks with you instead of bandit brews.
