slayer--- 73 green dragons

well like i said i need 73 green dragons.. i started on the ones to the west of the wildy about lvl 15.. as i was picking up the bones and hide i got pk'd by 7 at once.... is there a safer place as i lost my rune full a glory RoW and the food and pots i had.. money is not the problem in replacing but finding someone selling kite and full helm is.. Also i dont really want to change tasks i want the hides for craft xp

All green dragons are in the wilderness.

 

 

 

But you could try taking just glory, weapon, plate, legs, and shield.

 

 

 

If you die, use protect item so you only use your shield, which you can get for free from the duke.

I wish I'd get a green dragon slayer assignment..

 

 

 

Anyhow, this is the equipment that I use when fighting the green dragons that are just nw of Edgeville.

 

 

 

Equipped:

 

 

 

Black d'hide body

 

Black d'hide vambs

 

Rune Legs

 

Dragon Long

 

Wizard hat

 

Anti-dragonfire shield

 

Gnome amulet

 

I don't wear a cape, but you can wear a legends or god cape if you have one.

 

 

 

In inventory:

 

 

 

Ectophial

 

Prayer potion

 

Range potion

 

Anti-poison

 

Black chaps

 

Steel knives

 

Several sharks

 

The rest lobbies

 

 

 

I eat the lobbies when the dragons damage me. I eat the sharks if I need to heal when attacked by a pker. While fighting a dragon, if I see trouble, I put on my black chaps and turn on magic prayer before the dragon is dead. When the dragon dies, I switch to knives. If I'm attacked, I sip the range pot and let them have it with the knives.

 

 

 

At some point, these guys will switch to a dds and start specialing you. Switch to melee prayer when this happens.

 

 

 

Make sure that auto-retal is off.

 

 

 

Make sure that when you switch to knives, it is on rapid. Click on knives, then dlong, and back again to test this. I always use the dlong attack style required to make this seemless, but you can switch manually if you want.

 

 

 

You can keep arrows equipped and keep a msb in your inventory instead of the knives if you want.

 

 

 

I walk to and from edgeville. If you find that my setup leaves too little space for dhides and bones, then leave some of the pots at home.

 

 

 

The best defense is a good offense. Fight back and these guys will usually crumble. If you don't want to fight, then just use the ectophial, it's a life-saver.
