Lately, I've been noticing a bunch of weird characters in posts such as this one

An encoding issue.

Pages on this site are being served using iso-8859-1, but those characters are unicode. Try forcing your browser to use UTF-8 instead of Western.

In Firefox that's View - Character Encoding. In IE, View -> Encoding. In Opera, View -> Encoding.

In theory something's gone wrong along the line. Either stickman_sam's browser should see the character encoding and encode the message input correctly, or phpbb isn't sending it correctly, or phpbb should be converting it, or something.. I dunno.

Albosky/Grin - any ideas?

I've corrected this on the main site in my latest version of the index, it is indeed an encoding problem which apparently have been overlooked for a long time, however, the main site is not at least using UTF-8 :)

That's all we have from the main side, now over to you Albosky
