Some help with slayer please.

Hi, started training slayer a few days ago, up to lvl 47 at the moment, just wondering what the best slayer master would be for me to go to.

 

Are there any that completley avoid killerwatts because they are really getting me down as i dont range so have no d range armour.I am currently going to edgeville master but he seems to be giving me kilerwatts and pyrefiends all the time and when not them i get moss giants, i would rather have more difficult tasks with better drops.

 

 

 

my combat lvl is 79

mage 66

 

hp 64

try lost city, but you should really stick to edgville dungeon master for the moment, you are just a bit unlucky with the tasks, thats all (i havent had killerwatts at all..)

I binned the Edgeville guy after I kept getting werewolves (on reflection these aren't such a bad assignment), I now use the Lost City master and I have never had an especially bad assignment from her.

168 iron dragon from her was bad enough to lose faith in her for me for a while :P

 

 

 

just keep at a slayer master, if you can get by burthorping 10 assignments, you have the patience for slayer now

Ok cheers mate i guess i wll just stay there for a while then, and count yourself lucky you havent got killers yet mate, they are a terrible pain to kill they hit fast and hard for something of such a low lvl.

 

I was with a lvl 94 yesterday that had the same quest and he was getting annoyed at them too,unless you can wear good d range armour your going to use soo much food its unreal.

 

Its not even like i dont hit hard enough, im hitting 23s with d baxe which imo should be sufficiant but they just hit so fast with both range and melle.

ouch, that would be it for me i would have to give up.

 

 

 

On that note, what can i do if i get a slayer task that i just cannot do,is tere a w3ay i can dump the task and get another.

Go to the burthorpe slayer master. If the assignment is one which he wouldn't give then he will change it. That is what people mean by Burthorping. Unless you want to fight things like 168 iron dragons this is well worthwhile :)

cheers dog that is going to help no end, i think what i will go to lost city from now on, then go to buthorpe when i get something thats too difficult for me.

lost city definnately the way to go. I was using edgeville for ages, but was startig to tire of crocodiles and elves every assignment. With lost city, I am getting metal dragons every other assignment at the moment, but when i do get a nice one, it tends to be pretty good, such as 150 fire giants, trolls or suchlike.
