Featured Replies

i will be making a p2p pure soon.

should i keep 1 ranged or cannon to 70?

Don't even cannon to 70, get HP exp too. HP levels are valuable, and you can get Black chaps and vambs for better defence.

So yeah, get ranged.

If you want to get range xp without hp xp for whatever reason. You can cannon up to lv 40 (?? whatever the entry requirement is for the rangers guild). Then you can use the range game in the guild to get tickets which you can exchange for range xp without any hp xp.

While dragonhide vambraces are the best "gloves" for an F2P melee fighter, there may be some other alternatives in P2P.

On the other hand, Dragonhide/leather is an excellent anti-mage outfit.

As for hitpoint levels, more HP = more life, but of course the penalty is an increase in combat level that could otherwise come from attacking skills.

Of course, even if you could, no-HP training your main combat style would be useless... you could hit mightily for your level, but go down to the first decent counter.

Justifying extra hitpoints though ... they contribute to combat level at the same rate as defence, so the question for a melee pure...

4 extra hitpoints, or steel instead of iron? (4 extra defence)
