June 19, 200620 yr Why URSS vanish? Because it's spelled USSR. Or CCCP depending on which hemisphere you're in. Or because Mr. Gorbachev tried to make reform happen. Or because of the Afghan War. No one thing caused it to collapse. And the reason for its collapse is purely political, not economic or social. the russians are the best! Hands down!
