June 18, 200620 yr This is a more technical question, but it is still a question. To the Forum gurus out there, how do I link directly to only one post. I just want to link to a certain post on This thread but I don't know how. Anyone help me out?
June 18, 200620 yr In my complex world of workarounds (which is how the space program gets anything done with obsolete equipment), I normally would search the poster's profile and find the specific post. Since this topic dates from last year that would be a bear. HOWEVER, while looking where your link sent me, I came across and unexpected clue. Your link was http://forum.tip.it/viewtopic.php?t=336 ... c&start=75 Turns out the last digit is the post # in the thread. So if you fool with that, say to 80, then the page starts with post #80 (formerly the 5th post on that page). So fool with that and see if you can get what you want. Interesting topic btw ;) it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
June 18, 200620 yr Author Yes, that'll do just fine, it brings the attention straight to the Post since it would be the first one you see. I was looking for being able to view an individual post but this will work quite fine. Thanks =D>
