Every time I craft body runes, I appear opposite of the portal instead of right on it and I almost got lost today when I tried to level up my runecrafting. I really freaked out, too, since I didn't want to be trapped in the past. Please tell me that everytime I found myself opposite of that portal, I was seeing things. The next few questions arise because when I don't play, I tend to stay off for months at a time, sometimes because I'm in China and my uncle's computer doesn't have Javascript and I'm not willing to mess with what's not mine, other times because by the time I'm through with my schoolwork, I'm tired to the point where I just collapse onto the couch and the next thing I know, it's 6 am. Anyhow, I tend to miss things en masse when I don't play. 2. What's with the squirrels? What function do they serve and why can't we poach them (or do anything else)? Same goes for racoons. These creatures' pelts should be good opportunity for crafting xp. 3. Does that guy at the edge of Al-Kharid do anything besides hand out outdated coupons? 4. And this last one is very old news, but I haven't found a place to ask about it on until now. What happened to the sleeping function? When I first started, there was this thing about sleeping, but the next time I logged on, which was a few months after I created the character, it was gone. Thanks for reading! "People are idiots. Gugge Posted June 22, 2006 Share Posted June 22, 2006 Regarding sleep: There was a time when you got fatigue from doing things, and then recovered by sleeping (and typing in a word to wake up). This was added to stop macroers. The fatigue and the need to sleep was then removed when Jaged added other ways to deal with macroers. Please think before you ask a question. An artifact of the sleeping days is the inn upstairs in North Shilo Village, where you can buy a Paramaya (sp?) ticket allowing you to spend the night, lol. it's a lot easier to get over yourself when you look at intelligence the same way you look at beauty, or height, or eye color: being smart is easy, but being good is hard ... being smart is handed to you, being good is handed to *nobody*.
