June 23, 200620 yr ok, so Cosmic Talismans are dropped by the otherworldly beings in Zanaris right? well for 3.5 hours i killed these things, gained 4 str levels and 1 hit point level, and with the ring of wealth i scored: 1320 gold, 32 law runes, 45 chaos 30 deaths 12 blood 14 cosmic 100 natures 14 herbs of varying grade 23 ruby rings 4 mithril maces 2 cooked mackerels 1 nature talisman a friend joined me to get some "dragon meds" and help me out and he killed many for about an hour and a half. so my question is. in all that killing where was the talisman? i thought these guys were celebrated cosmic tally droppers, but in my experience. they don't drop it at all. is there something i'm missing here or am i just unlucky? also what is the going rate for this seemingly not-so rare item? you know since i'm gonna have to buy it now that i've hunted a respawning enemy into extinction.
June 23, 200620 yr Cosmic talismans are hard to come by as a drop as they are fairly rare, but they are also not valuable. You can save yourself by shopping around for one - most people have a few cosmic tiaras I'm sure they'd part with for those death runes or maybe 5k.
June 23, 200620 yr I have some tiaras *nudge nudge wink wink* As for cosmic tallies, I remember when I first wanted one, and spent ages killing various things for them. Then a mysterious old man appeared and gave me one, about an hour later I fished one up in a casket, and a few hours after that I got one as a drop from something. Quite clearly, cosmic talismans are like buses. I'd have to say, I don't think I've ever gotten it as a drop from anything else, but usually from randoms such as the MoM. I think he's travelled runescape and hoarded them all.
