Question about genies

My lvl 16 is currently at 38 defence and 28 hitpoints.

 

I want him to be lvl 17 with 40 defence, but the hitpoints are raising too fast. So lvl 17 won't be possible this way.

 

 

 

Now my question is how to get genies fast?

 

Is there any way to improve the odds of getting one?

Doing repetitive actions, like alching, teleporting, cooking, fletching, will eventually give you a random event. However it will not be a genie everytime, the random event you get is random, and the time you get a random event is also random

 

So doing stuff like that has a highter chance, but they are still... RANDOM. Dunno why people don't get it, it's simple.

I think that they are just random so there's no way of speeding it up. Chop wood or mine while you wait for it. Then again doing that might mean that you have to wait longer because there's more events possible... hmm :-k

That won't help.

 

You need atleast 50-80 damage to get the experience.

So i can also get it by mining, fishing etc? Since i don't remember.

and you need 40 combat to get into pest control

you will still be level 17 :? use tip.it calculator just to be sure but i think its fine as you will get 1-2 hp levels per defence level which is fine

go on to a world with les people so there is a better chance of getting one
