Ok. I know I need to have the ring of visibility equipped to see the entrance and get in, but do I need to keep it equipped to go through and fight him?

Why wouldnt you? :o you wont get a better drop from him if you use row :P

...... :-$ let the smart people talk. Ring of Life man. Ring of life. I'm not thinking about wearing a ROW and he has no drop except for the diamond I'm after.

I believe that I switched to a ring of life after I went down there, you only ring of visibility to see the entrance.

If Jagex ever made a perfect update, there would be players complaining about nothing to complain about.

And he isn't as hard to kill as people make out in fact I found him only to be slightly harder than Fareed, just put protect from melee and run back to the single combat area where you can earth blast him to your hearts content. I used 4 prayer pots I think, but at 60 prayer you may only need 3.

Then you'd be wrong. I used more than that. Although I may have drank when I was already full....
